In addition to missing you and being glad to be home again, your kitty may also be dealing with her pain in a positive way. Besides purring when happy or content, cats use purring to calm themselves when afraid or in pain. By snuggling you and purring, she is helping her own mood and will feel better faster. Aren't our kitties just furry geniuses?

She appoligising for whatever evil thing she did that made you do what you did to her!

She wants to make sure you never take her back there and leave her overnight and make her suck gas and go by by and wake up aching.

It will pass

She'll forgive you and the vet in a few weeks.
