i had 2 cats that have attack my friends before and the the one attack me teeth and claws y does this happen

my cat does this to me. he is actually scared of other people, so he only comes out when I am around. I think he thinks he is playing when he runs out and attacks my leg. luckily he doesn't have front claws, but he sure knows how to use the back ones and he has very sharp teeth. he also does this to my hands or whatever. cats play with each other this way, so I'm sure it is a form of affection of something.

I was attacked by a cat once. I was only 9 when it happened. I have hated cats ever since. I still think that cat was evil.

Cats are hard to understand. I have two myself and love them very much but that does not mean they love me as much as I love them. I know to give them space along with other things they need. Both of my cats have attack my sister and one has attack my self. You may of done some thing to upset him or you just might of had something tasty on you and he or she wanted a bit too.

My hubby was and he caught cat fever. The stray cat bit him on the arm and it was swollen up and he went to the dr and he gave him a tetanus shot. When a cat bites you it can be just as bad as a snake bite. Good thing the cat did not have rabies. My hubby was very sick with a fever, swollen arm and had to miss 4 days from work.

i worked at a animal shelter a few years back. i was stationed in the puppy room. but i decided to tour around when i first started the job and went to the cat room. and there was this adorable cat in a huge cage alone in the corner. i opened the cage to play with him and all my coworkers screamed "NOOOOOOOOOO!" the cat went nuts and hissed and attacked my face like a fiend. turns out that cat had some kind of anger illness. i came out with freddy kruger-like scratches. pretty funny.

my sister had a cat that was mean as hell. she would attack anyone and everyone that came near her . we finally got a hold of her and took her to the vet and had her put down.....we both cried like babies because that was the first time we have ever got to hold her without getting bit...a few days later the vet called to let my sister know that her cat had a brain tumor. sad but true.

If you are very close to your cats then yeah it would be normal for them to attack if they are in fact feeling threatened by a person for attention. Pay more attention to them when your friends are around and see what happens.

I was he was a Simeese called Possum, we were taking care of him, he jumped on me & my husband, scarred him, we felt he had never been outside or around other cat, the change really did a # on him , he was protecting himself, we had to lock him in another room when we had company, He trapped me on my icebox for 30 min., my hubby threw him out till the owners came home 2 weeks later.
