OK this makes no sense -
My ex boyfriend still tries to talk to me, he flirts with me, tells me that he misses me and wants me, but he doesn't want to be with me because he says that he doesn't want a serious relationship (after we dated for FOUR years)...he is seeing another girl that he told me was his girlfriend like 3 weeks ago, but now he says it's nothing serious with her...but isn't it a SERIOUS relationship when you have a GIRLFRIEND?! Does anyone make any sense of this?

Sure...he wants his cake and eat it too. Sounds like he is a little wishy washy. Don't give in to him. Hold back and wait until he has a definitive answer. It's either you or this other girl. Don't become easy for him. It's a girl's biggest mistake. A typical guy will play on the emotions of a girl simply because they know that this is a girl's weakness. ; )

hey there.
been in ur position before. u're right it makes u freaking confusing. i tink it's a way of telling u that he want to see other people plus u too. he still dun wana lose u.
mayb ur relationship of 4 years with him was getting stale n he wanted a difference in his life. so he thought mayb he shld look around first but still keep u in his life so that if he cant find any better girls out there, u'll still be there with him.
i know it sound silly but that's wat guys tink. i let mine go. i figured if he wanted the 'time-off' just to look around for 'better options' then forget it. i too can do exactly that.

Sound to me like he is just stringing you along in case he breaks up with her. I think you could probably do better and look around for someone who would take you seriously.

i guess he just wants to flirt around....he doesnt want to get into a serious r'ship i guess coz he is afraid of having to bear resposibilities......tats why he doesnt wanna get serious!!
some guys just prefer to flirt around even though they have been through serious r'ships b4....just forget him !! ;)
