no way, if a 27 year old is tryin to get with a 16 year old there is a reson its that they are sick and they cant get with someone who has any sense 16 year olds think they know everything but they dont and they will regret it big time and a 27 year old will take such advantage of a 16 year old think about how much they have been throgh that you havent dont do it find someone your own age they are the only ones on your level

Take it from me, don't let your relationship with your family suffer. If you two love each other, wait 2 more years. I was 16 and my now husband was 26 when we first met. I put my family thru hell and it took so, so long to patch things up. If I could do it all over again, I would have waited until l was 18, and if the feelings were still there, then I would have persued things. Take things slow and really do some thinking. You could end up regretting alot of things!

Considering the incredible developmental gap between 27 and 16, it is scary that someone 27 can be on the same level as a 16 year old.

Um, avoid dating them anyway. Eleven years is a huge difference, esp. when one is only 16. Also, the 27 yr old can be charged with rape and stuff along those lines because they're seeing a minor. I'd tough it out, and see if you still wanna date him when you're 20.

been there-when i was your age-and when my parents found out all hell broke lose-and i ended it-not mainly because of them -but because i was not ready for that type of relationship- and the 27 year old should know what i mean-have him (if he is the one!) wait till your an adult 18+-21 to start making adult decisions- then go for it!
