If you are planning on going into the military you can enlist in any branch if you get a GED. It is the same thing as a high school diploma. But you have to get it first before you can enlist. Once you do that you will have to take another test called the ASVAB. Good luck

The army currently has a program that will pay for your GED. Go to GoArmy.com and find a recruiter. They will pay for your GED 100% . A recruiter will be more then happy to provide you with the information you need.
At the moment the Marines, AirForce, Navy and Coast Guard are extremely picky about taking people with GED's. The Army on the other hand will take you if your qualified.

Then sign up for some class and get your G.E.D.
Or wait a whille until military decides to accept people without High School diploma.
But you really want to get your G.E.D because I think it will help you to score better on the ASVABS.
Have you talked to a recruiter yet.
They can be creative and resourceful.
They may have some suggestions.

you can take their entrance exams and if you score high enough they will let you enlist and get your GED thru them. Having a diploma doesn't make all people educated. Some people who have diplomas cannot pass the miltary exams.

You have to have a GED. If you are not sure where to go, call a recruiting office and they will tell you where the nearest testing cite is.
