is it your home or are you just squatting? lol. you should be fine as well as it is a well constructed home. I have seen some homes go up lately that could be broken into using a razor knife. Cut the vinyl siding and thin underlayment, pull out the insulation, cut the drywall and squeeze through the 16" opening you have created in under 10 minutes... scarey really.. and to think there are whole brand new additions built this way. just be careful that you buy a quality home.

absolutely not, as long as you have purchased from a reputable builder. Also, ensure that all inspections have passed and that a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued (C.O.). This certificate must be obtained before the buyer can finalize the purchase and this states that this structure has meet or exceeded municipality requirements regarding safety and building codes.

Actually builders suck at cleaning up the dust they make. Make sure you take care of that. I answered on the other 'same question'.
