I have been told that this is a medicine that you can give to dogs for kennek cough.

The drug you mentioned is to treat cows. Do not give to your dog. Kennel cough is like a cold in a dog but can last as long as a month or more and very contagious. Amoxicillan can be used, but the antibiotic does not really have a big effect in treating kennel cough. Call your vet and ask over the phone if there is anything safe to give such as cough suppressants.

This is prescribed in some countries for pnemonia but it is very expensive.

Probably cheaper to buy another puppy from the "mill".
