If he's eating and drinking normal, I wouldn't worry about it. But if he starts turning his nose up to any food or water then I would take him to the vet. I personally had the same problem with my black lab and I just took a syringe and forced water down his throat and after about a week of that he was better and running around like normal.

No. A dry nose does not mean that your dog has a fever.
Is this the only reason you think that your dog isn't feeling well?

my dog usually has a cold wet nose yes, but sometimes she has a warm dry nose and nothing is wrong with her. I would rely on the way she acts rather than the whole nose temp thing. Wait a couple of days and if nothing gets better take her to a vet.

Did your dog just wake up? Whenever my dog wakes up/ is asleep her nose is dry and warm. But when shes sick her breath smells sick. I dont know how to explain it just smells like the feeling you get when your starting to get a sore throat.

Call the vet it is free to ask that same question. That way you dont make a trip for nothing. And if something is wrong you can
make an appointment or even take your dog in ASAP and they
know your coming!

Your dog may have gotten overheated. Remember, dogs can't sweat so they get heat exhaustion easily. Make sure he gets water, even if you have to force it in with a medicine dropper, and let him rest to see if he gets any better first.
