Hi sugar cane, yes I have social anxiety. Actually, I had selective mutism as a child, but there wasn't a name for it back then, so no one knew what was wrong. As I grew older, I picked up panic attacks, and other anxiety problems.
Fortunately, as I've gotten older, I seem to be less anxious. I think that's because I'm learning to focus less on myself, and more on the positive things of life and other people.
What I hate most, is that people always misjudge me. They either think I'm stuck up, cold and distant, or just not interested in socializing. It's not their fault, because they just don't know.
Surprisingly, most people don't see the awkward behavior, we perceive as being exaggerated and noticeable. We really can be our worst enemies. Hang in there, things will get better. :)

Yes, I suffer from it. It has lessened but I have not totally overcome it. I probably will never get over it completely but wil learn to live with it.....as comfortably as I can.

well i have social issues to the point i think about a trip i will make in 2 days and the people and no script helped me i had to go through a flood of my home to get to the point to where i will beat someone s azz

i suffer from social anxiety so much so that i had to stop school (im home schooled now) but im getting better so there is hope
