What keeps Christians from accepting the teachings of the Buddha? What keeps Protestants from accepting the Pope as God's spokesperson on earth? What makes people like you think you are right and everyone else is wrong?
If it were that obvious everyone would be a Christian, and there would be only one religion. Clearly God wants everyone to believe different things. If he wanted to set the record straight he could have made it unequivocally clear.
When Jesus rose from the dead for example, why didn't he return to the Temple and show the Jews and Romans he was alive? Why would the Jews and Romans believe his disciples, who clearly had a vested interest in making people believe he hadn't been defeated by them?
Why did the Christians then proceed to murder and perscute the Jews for hundreds of years, as you say, for not "accepting Jesus and His Salvation"?
It isn't just the aetheists my friend. It's the Buddhists, Hindus,
Jews, Taoists, and everyone of the thousands of other religious believers. What's the common theme here? Is it some painful past experience, hatred or what? No, it's just that God gave different evidence to different people. I suggest you take it up with him.
It's enough to watch the different faiths eternally trying to tear each other apart. It lead me to the conclusion that if God had wanted us to rely on faith, he wouldn't have given us brains. I am not an aetheist, but I believe we should be guided by reason and evidence in all things. Not by faith alone. Lest we be deceived by fanatics, fools and charlatans.

Logic. Empirical thinking. Not being superstitious or gullible or easily brainwashed by those that would use me to fill their coffers so they can live at my expense. Is that enough for you or are we going to play 20-questions?
This question and "What is the meaning of life?" are the two most asked questions... over and over again... it's really getting BORING. Haven't you anything better to ask? You want the answer to this questions? Search past questions and answers.
I have a question for YOU. How can religious leaders sleep so comfortably at night in their mansions or huge homes while there's so much injustice, genocide, hunger, malnutrion and treatable diseases, sicknesses and illnesses being ignored, slavery still exists, unimaginable human rights violations still exist, homelessness, poverty to the extent that you cannot image... and the religious leaders can sleep at night so comfortably... being chauffeured around, dining in the most expensive chinaware and silverware... with the obscene luxuaries, throwing out expensive leftovers that can feed a few families on a daily basis... HOW can you worry about what a person does or doesn't believe in and not care what YOUR OWN religious leaders are not doing...?

I cannot speak for all Atheists here, but here is my theory:
Atheists pretty much are skeptics. They believe in things that are proven, or at least backed up with a little hard evidence. Outside of what is written in the bible, there is no evidence that Jesus will save you from a place called hell. There's no evidence of hell, and there's no evidence of heaven. And the bible was written by men.
To an Atheist, these things don't exist because there is no evidence to support them. I hope this helps you understand Atheism. Atheists are not bad people. Some of the most brilliant and humanitarian people in history were Atheists. Blessed be.

Rotflmao, love the upside-down cross with this question, and misspelling Atheist is priceless.
I don't accept Jesus's salvation because not only do I not believe in god's existence, according to the prophesies Jesus is a false Messiah. Check out Evil bible.com

The fact that I grew up and stopped being gullible .
I learned to think for myself .
Children PRETEND to see things ,like invisible friends .
I went along with going to church and believing ,but I only did it to be accepted.
I NEVER felt the presense of god ,heard his voice ,or believed any of the Fairytales in the bible.
I always thought I was alone in this feeling but found out that there are more honest people amoung Atheists than religious people.
I am no longer alone .
I AM a good person ,i do kind things for others regardless of their faith. I believe in ME and what values i was taught by my parents.
Although they could not prove to me anything about the existense of god ,they did teach me of the value of others.

Neither. It is simply their own logic. I'm not saying that Christians dont think logically, I'm saying that Christians have a stronger faith in what they want to believe in while atheists have more logic than faith. Faith is never a bad thing, in fact, its often a very good thing and a person should strive to have strong morals rather than a large sum of money or even a large sum of knowledge

It is called "Freedom of Belief."
Your suggested answers ("painful experience", "hatred") were negative. Why is that? Did it ever occur to you that atheists might have positive reasons for not believing that Jesus is God?
Why are you bigoted? Was it a painful experience? Or Hatred? What is it?

Allow me to put a different spin on things, since I only saw one post slightly allude to it. Did you ever think that it might not be up to the atheists at all? Could it be God Himself allowing the nonbeliever to go his or her own way? Yes, it takes "acceptance" out of the nonbeliever's hands. But it puts it into a bigger picture with someone else at the controls, doesn't it?

The need for a shred of evidence that something exists before believing it. I Speak from experience, because I'm an atheist and that is exactly how I feel about it.

Atheists, in my experience, are not hateful people at all. And not all atheists are atheists because they have had some kind of trauma associated with religion. Most atheists are because religion just doesn't make sense to them. Christianity makes no more sense to an atheist than atheism does to you.
