We've been together for four months and because of school I wouldn't be able to go until next summer. Until then we're doing the long distance thing. (He's 10 hours away)

We've already discussed it and he thinks its a good idea.

just to clarify I was going to WAIT to make the move until I finish school. The only reason he moved out of state was because he got accepted to law school (this was before we got together). If I moved i was planning on attending a school closer to him to get another degree.

If it's meant to be, he'll wait for you next summer. Go with the long distance for now. With school, work and a busy schedule, it'll go fast. 4 months is really not along time to make a move like that. Chill out and take your time.

Try the long distance thing out and see how it goes, if it goes well only you can decide if you want to move. I have known a lot of couples who have followed the other to another city and broken up shortly after. You guys have only been together 4 months, you might need more time to decide what you really want to do.

I think four months is not enough to start thinking about a long distance relationship, maybe if it was your highschool sweetheart who you have been in love with for like 3 years, but I mean, you can give it a try, but I personally don't think four months is enough time to leave everything and move to another city, plus I have a friend who was going to do that with her boyfriend and realized what a scum he was before going through with it

This is a difficult question to answer. There is so much I don't know about your relationship.

If it is an honest and open relationship and you feel he is the one, then you may consider going.

I suggest you both speak very seriously about this - what your plans are, your relationship, where it is, where you'd like it to go, etc.

I also suggest you speak to others about it. Openly and honestly. Good Luck to you in whatever you decide.

If it were me, i would have to say no, i would not go. I would continue with my school. You have to make the best decesion for you. Just think about it long and hard before doing something you may regret later. Good luck.

NO!!!! there is no commitment yet. only if you were married should you go, then it would be a mutual decision. this will be a wonderful test of the strength of your relationship. what would you feel like if you move and then a breakup occured, that potential is always there when there is no commitment. NO!!!

Forget it. Long distance relationships do not work. Find a boy closer to you.
