then when things get real close, they tell you they are in love with someone else. so now your left alone to cry. then turns out things didnt work out for them and so they come crawling back to you. and want to try again...for the third time. what to do

Never look back if he could tell you that he loves someone else after all the things you been through with him he never deserve you in the first place. You are the prize make any man work for it, and they will if they really care about you.

Tell them to be sure when they're in love and when they're not. Tell them that if they fall out of love with you, then you should end the relationship right then.
If it's the third time, though, I probably wouldn't even bother. THhe person either has a fear of commitment or a lust for other people, neither of which I'd want in a relationship.

I know it's hard to bar someone, I find it hard myself.... It's not healthy to put yourself through all that heart ache again, all the tears & pain. If they didn't want you then, & they chose someone else for you, they're not good enough for you.
Simply if they were good enough for you they would have done anything to be with you. Think about if you really want to get back with them, let them into your heart, start to care about them, get close again, when they've already stuffed you round twice....
Sometimes you go through so much with someone, you just can't get back to where you were before. Just think really hard about if it's what you want to do. Just think, would you prefer to go back, or is it time for an upgrade to a newer model?

Tell them if they're just going to be with you until some other guy with a nicer car, more money, or a bigger dick comes along, tell them it's not fair to you, and leave you alone so you can find someone who actually cares/loves you

do not fall again--trust me it hurts worse the third, fourth, and fifith is the worst. after that it's not so bad, but you totally lose trust
