There's so much sexuality in our popular culture (music, movies, mags, and everyday talk), but are people actually doing it less? This is sort of an existential issue in my mind, which might be due to either urban isolation or the zoolike artificiality that surrounds us in today’s high tech world. In fact, I'm sort of a 'techie' myself.

People are waiting to get married until they're in their 30s, but are they having any sex at all in their 20s, and when they finally do get married, is sex a common thing or just an occasional thing? I keep hearing stories about wild kids having sex w/ their classmates, and talk about how more women are even having extra-marital affairs these days, but it just seems like the average person has very little sex, if any. It's socially acceptable to talk about sex, but what about talking about the fact that there isn't really that much of it? Is there a bipolar phenomenon here? Please be honest about your experiences. Am I way off base here?

wow finally a question that doesn't make me want to throw my computer out! I assist couples in opening up about their sexual desires, frustrations and fears everyday and the truth is couples and people in general are having alot of secret sex, society has put such a taboo on sex that it has pushed people in to private sex clubs and swinger sets. So people are having sex, they just aren't telling.

nicely, it would seem that even as our society is starting to be keen about it in video clips, T.V. and different mediums, it really is way less of an occurance interior the domicile life. i imagine it really is specially the celebrities whose lifes are plastered everywhere, magnified and examined to a microscopic aspect so as that they haven't any secrets and techniques, especially even as it comprises their love life- so, it seems at circumstances like society on an complete is starting to be hypersexual. even if, there are more beneficial human beings going to marriage therapists and sex counselors than ever earlier, which may advise that interior the significant, our us of a has issues in fact with sexuality interior the classic man or woman- it is going between on eof 2 extremes- hypersexual, the position sex is amazingly worry-free, customary occurance, and then hyposexual, the position it really is a uncommon occurance reserved for particular activities, and nonetheless between the spouses in all fairness resistent to it. even as human beings are more beneficial smooth with speaking about it now, further and extra are starting to be more beneficial uncomfortable with the act itself- that's because already a lot of our lives are out interior the open, and in view that we communicate about it, surely doing it would take between the few issues maximum individuals attempt to maintain own, and make it a no longer so own ingredient. i trust that portion of it has to with how our society tries to be so open and honest now- to the point that no man or woman quite has secrets and techniques. It also makes peiople more beneficial irratable, and a lot less trusting- there's a lot about us as human beings obtainable that it really is hard to sense probability-free about something. also, there is the STD fears. And with there being more beneficial televised articles concerning STDs and different sexual well being themes, many change into self consciouss, and uncomfortable with themselves, making it confusing to be smooth doing any sexual act with a spouse.
