why do christians bang at our doors presuring us to donate to a cause that has no fact or proof, why do christians fill up our tv programing and advertising air time with commercials and segments on believeing, why do christains constantly force an unproven novel down everyones throat.........

Because they can't answer the question that God doesn't exist... let alone why they exist.
If you look at the Bible, it is true account of history. The Bible was written over a period of fourteen hundred years and a span of forty generations by over forty authors from all walks of life. Written in three languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek) and in three different continents (Asia, Africa, Europe) at different places.
The scribes who copied the Bible were trained professional...
***just a few thoughts***
1) No word of letter must be written from memory without the scribe looking at the codex before him.
2) Between every consonant the width of a hair or thread must interven.
3) Between every book, three lines
4) The copyist must sit in full Jewish dress and be recently bathed.
***and***
5) He should not begin to write the name of God with a pen newly dipped in ink.
There is more, but you would have to seek on your own to find the real truth.
I think that the Athiests has never thought of sitting down and doing their homework, because they are to busy thinking for themselves and no one else.
My question to the Athiests. Where did all this come from?
Don't say the Big Bang Theory... because what were the odds of that happening.
As for Dawin Theory... I hate to say that he (Charles Dawin) became a Christian.
The Bible is the only book that has out sold any other book on the shelf every year.

- To remind you how proselitism can be an annoyng thing
- To keep you in check
- To keep church and State separated
- To make sure theocracies, the scourge of the Earth, are fought or brought down at each opportunity, or better yet, that it never happens
- A reality check once in a while is a good thing
- TO KEEP THE DIALOGUE OPEN
> Why do athiests meddle so much in christian afairs?

The reason for this is to show that there is no God or whatnot. I guess I would do this because I always hear about Christianity everywhere around me and I find it quite pathetic that everyone is saying how God is so great, yet there is nothing to prove his existence. Christianity would be the major target, or at least people think, because it is everywhere. I've been to foreign countries and even there I see Christian churches. No offense to Christians.

Why do politicians make promises they will never keep? Don't group all atheists as troublemakers. I'm christian and know MANY more who stick their noses up places where they don't belong. I figure that no matter what side of the fence you're on, these kind of people are not happy, and if they can't be happy, they don't want anybody else to be happy either.

Because Christians are trying to impose their religious laws on non believers rather than making them just for themselves. They insist that because they don't allow homosexuality, abortions, divorce, stem cell research, women to speak, etc., no one should be allowed to do these things. Christians pushing for a US theocracy are the most terrifying thing on the planet. Imagine if the self-righteousness we already display were replaced with a religious zealotry. Oh, wait.....IT HAS!

I have found that most atheists ( including myself ) Keep our opinions to ourselves and respect the rights of other to believe whatever they choose to, The only time we get vocal about it is when a bible thumper tries to convert us, put us down , or tell us we are going to hell. And besides, It's so much fun ( not to mention easy ) to mess with them.

For the same reason people in the western medical professions meddle in the alternative medicine category -- ego imbalances.
