Get a camcorder head cleaner. If the heads are dirty, the camcorder is gonna record dirty. Well not dirty, but you know.

I have a old model of a Logitech cam.. lines seem to go across the screen when there's loud music playing or any loud noises so I'd assume it's from the noise or the vibrations from it.

Try to rewind the new tapes to the end and back. It might be some dust on the tape. from the manufacturing process.

that's just image resolution and dpi waves, sometimes considered as radio waves. as long as they do not appear on any videos you've copied to dvd-disk, you're okay.
