well.. 18 years ago, The Catholic church had more money than AT&T, Standard Oil, and General Motors, all 3 combined. I hardly see the Church of Christ anywhere on the NYSE.
hahahaa. Good Q*.

I am a member of the church of Christ, but not the church you described.
For one, you say that church is based in the Philippines. The headquarters of the true church is not on earth. (John 18:36) Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23), and he is in heaven, therefore the headquarters of the true church is in heaven.
The true church does not ask its members to renounce all material things. We should use the things we have wisely, and not allow them to come between us and God, but the church has no desire to become rich by making others poor.
The true church of Christ does still exist. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).
Open your Bible and read about the beginning of the church in Acts 2. These people became Christians. They were not a member of any denomination, they were simply Christians.
If we read and understand what they were taught and understood, believe what they believed, and do what they did, without adding any doctrine from men, we will become what they became - Christians- nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.
They did not join any denomination. In fact they did not "join" the church. When they were saved God ADDED them to His church. (Acts 2:41,47)
So the question of do you have to be a member of the church of Christ to be saved is backwards. You are not saved because you are a member of the church, you are a member of Christ's church because that's where you were added by God when you were saved. (In fact, not all members of "the Church of Christ" will be saved.)
Notice this about the church in Acts 2. They all had unity. They all heard the same mesage, about 3000 understood it the same way, accepted and believed it the same way, obeyed it the same way, became part of the same church, and continued in the same doctrine together. This is the type of unity Jesus prayed for in John 17:17-21. This is the type of unity Paul pleaded for in 1 Corinthians 1:10! This is the type of unity we should have today! To have it, we must leave man-made doctrines and follow the Bible as our standard.

The true Church will spend it's time and money teaching others about God's Kingdom just as Jesus Christ did. They will love one another and even their enemies. They will obey the laws of the land but they will remain no part of the world as Jesus was no part of the world. They will understand that man is a soul and that when the Bible uses the term soul, it always refers to the person himself or the life he enjoys. They will know also that the meek will inherit the earth and God's will will be done here just as Jesus prayed for.

Most all of the Christian Church's claim to be the only true way to salvation. Now what does that tell you? A lot of them even go so far as to call all the other Church's are devil worshipers. What does that tell you? When a Church asks for your money what does that tell you? maybe something like (Well yes GOD is really a good GOD however he is just not good with money so he needs yours).

Did you know that God started from the east?
Eden is the furthest east of where he started, then Israel, then europe, then USA, and has moved westward throughout the whole world.
Do not listen to these people.
I will give you a few points on God's remnant church.
Rev 14:12 says they will keep God's commandments and have the faith of Jesus.
Rev 12:17 says they will have the testimony of Jesus Christ
Rev 19:10 says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy
So the remnant church will keep all of God's Holy commandments (Exo 20) and will have the spirit of prophecy.
They may either teach prophecy as a main doctrine, or they will have their very own prophet, like that of Elijah.

There is a true Christian church. It consists of those who've accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Anything else is dross. Find a church that teaches the Bible with practices you find helpful in your walk and don't worry about what the others say. In particular, don't sweat the ones that tell you their way is the only way. Christ Himself is the way, and no one else gets a say in the matter.

a true Christian church is the one who claim that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior and aside from this there's nothing...yet there are many people who claim this but try to look at their lives...is it worth imitating? does their life and doctrine correlates each other? does he follow what is written in the bible?
Its too hard to follow the bible indeed...but it is our doctrine that lead our life which is base from Jesus Christ our Lord and God.

I believe my church is a true Christian church. Our funds support missionaries in many nations. They provide food, water, clothing, shelter, and education to those in need. We praise and worship the Lord freely without routines established by man. I don't think we're the only true church, just one of many.

Wow thats just horrible i doubt they really care about religion, mostly about money or something. My girlfriend had finished her Confirmation and well they made her do it again for some stupid reason, leeching $30 from her, ugh. You dont have to give anything to the church, if you do, then they just care about money and wealth.
