A soldier in uniform was approached today by a group of men calling him baby killer as they beat him. What does this say about the state of our nation when our service members are attacked by citizens?

Well, there was a group on MySpace that was anti troops. these jerks are just that. Jerks. I personally think everyone of them should be sent to live in Iraq. But thats just me. Oh and lets transport them to Iraq on a plane filled with Service men and women heading over to Iraq to serve. Then we'll see what happens.

This is incredibly bad and sad news. I do not support the war, but I am 100% behind the troops and what happened was an absolute, total, utter disgrace. I pray to God this country gets over this mass sickness that has affected our minds. Peace.

Yes I saw that bit of news... (was in Monroe, WA. for a visit)
I think they were just out to work someone over and he happen to be in the wrong place.. I bet they would have beat him no matter what he was wareing..

It reminds me of when the Vietnam veterans came home, they suffered the same indignities by people too p*ssy to fight themselves. These soldiers fought for your right to speak out against the war, they deserve much better than this.

I don't understand that at all. I am opposed to almost all war but I have nothing but respect for the men and women who serve in the military and I would certainly never do them any violence. I will add prayers for the safety of our military at home to my prayers for their safety in the war zones.
