Do it in a FUN way! Use your creativity! I've always "dreamed" of some kind of wild proposal (like you see on TV or in the movies!)
You could rent a billboard, do it on national TV, involve your workplace, have her ring hidden in a dessert, do it publicly (like at a ballgame), give her a recipe box full of "love" recipes and a ring taped to the side, put a ring on a teddy bear's neck and present it to her, use any sport-related activity and do it while playing, take her up in a hot air balloon and do it, take her to your favorite hot spot, take her to a beach . . .
There are LOTS of ways - GOOD LUCK!!!!! She sounds like a very lucky girl!

Try to do it creatively. Think of a special interest or hobby the girl is into and try to incorporate the proposal with that interest. For example, if she really loves soccer, maybe you could take her to a game and have the proposal announced by the announcer. Or if she really loves Chinese food, have the cook at a restaurant put the ring in the fortune cookie or something.

The best way is to get some ideas what she likes...If she is really into texting I would send her a text while you are next to her and ask her to marry you and when her phone goes off get down on one knee and hold out the ring... but if that is not your style... this one will take some time, but it is sweet... plan a movie night at your place. A day or two before put up glow in the dark stars on the ceiling... and spell out "Will you marry me?" So when it is movie time turn offthe lights and watch her face light up when all the sudden the stars light up your future.... (Make sure the movie is not on yet... it could dim the stars)

Go with what your heart tells you. Are you the type of guy to get down on one knee, or are you the type that likes to surprise the girl by having the ring mysteriously appear in something like her fruit salad? As long as you are proposing marriage, who cares?

Take her to a nice dinner but already let the staff know whats going to happen so they can be in on it to. Buy rose and have the waiter bring them out to her with the ring inside of them. Get everyones attention and have someone take the picture as she says yes. Once this is over after the week get the picture blew up and framed for her keepsake. she will love this i know i would.

First and most important thing is KEEP IT A SECRET! Take her to her favorite place (no matter what it is)...whether it is her favorite restraugnt or her favorite park...make it all about her! Be tricky make up a completely bogus story and surprise her...remember it is not how fancy it is ...it is how much thought and love went into it!! Make sure you don't imbarass her though! Make sure you tell her how special she is and how there wasn't ever and never will be anyone as special as she is! Good Luck

In whatever way you know she'll like. Most girls do not like gimicks. The "down on one knee" is beloved by all females. The proposal by hockey rink Jumbo-tron is not.
