No. All dogs share exactly the same DNA. They are a single race with different breeds, developed by humans. Basically, a poodle and a wolf have exactly the same DNA.

I have been in the veterinary field for years and have never heard of a test to determine breed. If it is a pure bred it should be evident by his traits what breed he is. Sorry I wasn't more help.

I don't know but have wondered the same thing myself. My puppy is one mixed up little critter and I have often wondered what types of dogs he comes from.

DNA tests are expensive.
Probably like 30,000 dollars or so.

LMAO!!!!
Not just "NO!" but "HEL* NO!!!!"
DNA profiling can ONLY determine if the sample is from a mating between TWO PREVIOUSLY recorded samples!!!
You've been watching TOO MUCH "CSI"...which is FICTION!!!
YOU have a MUTT/MONGREL!
Period.
BTW,vets & shelter people are NOTORIOUS for being ***TERRIBLE*** at guessing breeds/MUTTS!!!

I'm sure that there is a test, however, we probably can't afford it, even if we pulled our funds together.
