my dad and my step mom have three childern together and when they got divorcied nothing was set up for visitation cause my ex step mom said that my dad would always be able to see his kids. he pays child support and my step mom wont let him see his kids what can he do?? he went to the court house to set up medation but the courts denined him of that cause of his past record is this possible or against the law?? please help my dad really wants to see his kids!!!!!!

Yes he has the right to see the kids, he needs to get an attorney!! She should be careful because in some states if the parent with physical custody keeps the kids away from the other parent can loose custody all together... it can be reversed. All parents have rights, but sometimes depending on their past history a judge may grant them supervised visitations. Even if he refused to pay child support the other parent cannot with hold the child as punishment to the other parent!!!

yes, he can. The courts give visitation to ex cons straight out of jail. If you pay child support then you can. (barring a terrible crime against a minor)

He needs a lawyer, he has the right to see his children

tell him to get a lawyer if he is payng child Support he should have the right to see his kids.

call social services and ask them to help your dad get visitation. GOOD LUCK!
