We have a Bichon, and she would not stop barking at just about everything... we resorted to a collar that gives a small shock when they bark... I know, it sounds drastic, but in no time she understood "No Bark", and the collar became unnecessary. Good Luck, wish you the best.....

well the reason that dashounds bark is simple: to warn off prowlers or Mailman in area .To silent him go out side to see why
he's barking about if nothing in veiw just say hush real loud by
clapping your hands hard that gets his attention okay

Good luck, I have two and they bark at everything, and I don't believe in having them debarked.
