Your a NORMAL mom, who doesn't want some time to themselves? I don't think there is anyone in the world who wouldn't like some time away from their kids sometime. No matter how much you love them! Have a great night and I hope you can find a job that you, your husband, and your kids are all happy & comfortable with!

Take the time for yourself! Going back to work can be a great way to feel like yourself again. Try part-time at first if you are worried about the children, but I am sure they will be fine. Another option is to have a girls night with some friends a couple times a month. It doesn't have to be expensive-get together at someones house and share homemade cookies. *you can even let the guys be babysitters :)
Don't be worried, it is all natural and time to yourself is a must for a mother! Good Luck!

I don't think you are wrong as long as you child is left in the care of a responsible adult while you are away.
Even though your life is devoted to your family you still need to give yourself "me time" so that you don't loose your own identity. If working is something you like to do then maybe start out part-time and see how it goes.
If you don't give yourself time, you may grow angry and you might take it out on your family. Plus you need to spend some time away from your daughter so that she can establish a little independance which will ease her transition into pre-school.
So go to work, the gym, for a walk, join a bookclub. Do something for you and don't feel guily about it.

Not at all, I'm a mother of a 7 yr.old and a 14 yr. old, and trust me it's just as good for them as it is for you. Children are people too, and also need their space. Ya never know maybe your 2 yr. old is sitt'n around thinking "God will this woman ever leave"? Ya never know. But in the end you all need some breathing room, and if your worried about it just start out with a casual/part time job then you'll know whats what. Good Luck : )

You are completely normal!! Being cooped up with kids all the time makes for a dull adult, even getting out and getting a few hours away, no matter what your doing, is essential to making you a good parent. Get out and get a life away from home be it work or play. Good Luck!

No it doesn't make you a bad mother. I have three kids and a husband who makes more than enough money to support us. I also have a part time job becuase I found out that I am a better mother when I have time to miss my kids. GO easy on yourself. If you need sometime away take it. Do it for your family.

I have a two year old. Me and my partner left each other a couple of months ago. I felt soo stress and angry, but not at my daughter, just because all the pressure and pain I felt. I went to work and it felt really, really good. I would really recommend it. Only if your sure about it and if you have someone that you trust on to leave your kids with. Good luck on your decision!!!

I also am I mother of two, and yes it is okay for you to feel like you need to get away for awhile. Especially when you are a person who is relied apon 24-7. You tend to their needs ( including your husband) and need some "me" time. You will feel better about your motherhood and will be happier when you are with them if you get a break once in awhile. Hope it helped!

It's perfectly natural for you to want to get away from the house for awhile. Everyone needs a break. And if your husband is home during the week, then you won't have to pay a babysitter. Go for it!!

Everyone needs their time! There is nothing wrong with you needing to get away! You actually have a great situation because your husband would be able to stay home with her while you work.
