sure, some of us use hair greases and oils. If I want a slicked back hairstyle, I will use products like DAX, Murrays, and others. It gives a nice gloss and keeps my hair held in place. Also use Wildroot creme oil as the mineral oil and lanolin in it help keep my scalp moisturized and in good condition.

okay im not going to reccomend you use stuff by bed head, but i will say that hair grease is totally not neccessary especially if you like a nice airy look.

a lot of people are under the misconception that grease is a moisturizer, its not. Its a lubricant and can actually cause more damage to the scalp conditons most people are trying to fix in the first place. Think of it this way is you have a sticky layer of oil covering your hair, pollutants, dust and other nasties are just sitting there on your scalp until your next shampoo.

try washing your hair AT LEAST once a week and using products that are moisturizing (especially on relaxed hair). use foam wrap and a little bit of oil sheen just for shine purposes(makes it look pretty). also look into deep conditioning treatments and avoid spritz its the devil.

I'm white and have really curly hair and I don't use grease in my hair.

I have used different types of oils to moisturize my hair then wash it out. My hair is frizzy with the oil in so that wouldn't work for me anyway. Hair gel is the way to go for me.

I don't, because I have fine hair that gets weighed down with even the lightest product. Also, I don't think hair grease is in many mainstream "white" haircare aisles. I used to like mink oil spray for when I flat iron, though.

I dont use hair grease, but I do love to use anti-frizz lotions. Why dont I use hair grease? I think the word grease scares me off...

Yes but it is called something different.. Like spray wax.. Or silicone. Hair grease sounds gross..LOL Not only black people have dry hair.. I have really dry hair. It looks great when I use product designed for for overprocessed hair..

You should try products like dumb blonde by bed head, spray wax by sexy hair or bioslilk smoother.. they are better for your hair than hair grease..

Nope. Well, i don't, but not all white people have smooth hair. Some is kinky, and they might use hair grease. I personally like guys with kinky hair... I think it's soo cute.

I use hair grease only when i have artficial hair extencions. For example nuudles. Grease helps them to stay in shape. But when i dont have extencions, I dont use it because my scalp is so greasy allready that it would make it worse.Have a nice eavning:)

I use Dove hair gel, and Redken's Smooth Down. Its a smoother for dry hair, prevents split ends, and any hairspray that my husband isnt allergic to (there aren't many!).
My hair needs taming since its really fine and tends to get really static (dry climate, northern Canada)
Also, I need a lot of control so that any body that I get from blowdrying actually stays put.
