It is equally as dangerous in women as in men. Once infected there is only one ultimate outcome regardless of sex. Women with HIV will have potential problems if they wish to have children as they more than likely will pass it on to them. Women are more likely to get it as during sex our vaginal tissue will tear exposing you to possible infection.

because men do not have a cervix
and women can get cervical cancer from certain strains of HPV - that is the MOST dangerous bit.
Otherwise you get warts
Sometimes the warts are so bad you can't have a baby the normal way and need a caesarian section
Sometimes the warts can affect the baby.
