Yes. You need to learn to concentrate instead of only paying half attention to things. Your mind must be wandering off instead of focusing. I think practicing meditation for even a few minutes a day would help you do this. Learn how to be very still and clear your mind of all events of the day or week. Imagine for yourself, a beautiful picture of nature coming to life and watch as the flowers and small creatures make an appearance. Try to identify each thing in this image............Keep working at it. It's way to forget troubles and revive interest in life.

Well I don't know how old you are David but I experience that now and again..I can remember things from 20 years but forget something that happened 2 weeks ago..Pretty sad uh..There are medicine out there and it sounds like we both need some..LOL..

Play scrabble. Good memory game. I knew people that use to be on drugs that know have short term memory...doc says you have to retrain your mind. It will never be the same again but memory games will work. Eat healthy also

STOP sniffing paint, doing meth, shrooms, lsd, heroin, coke, weed, big macs, viagra, jerking off, getting alcohol, going to school, playing with Barbies, skipping bath time, eating processed foods, watching TV, the amphs and barbits, playing X-box.

START wiping your b*tt more, eating a balanced meal, going to be on time, sleeping 7 hours, and go outside.

Make lists and don't try too hard to remember things. Ginkgo Biloba is supposed to be good for memory loss, or to improve your memory.
