Hello. I was curious if it is possible to re-use cooked hot dogs. I volunteer at the local high school concession stand and we steamed hotdogs a few hours prior to use and they were kept warm at all times. Then after the football game we refrigerated them and the next afternoon I froze them. My question is can we reheat and serve the leftovers for the game on Friday the 8th?

Because the concession stand is a business, NO. It puts the school at risk for liability.
Now, if you were home, that'd be different. I have made hotdog goulash, hot dogs sliced into the mac n cheese, hot dogs and eggs for the kids, etc. But then, I like to be frugal.

As a consessionare your taking one hell of a chance to poison someone and face some time in prison for doing so. I would say dispose of them as it's not worth it to take a chance. There's most likely a law on the books telling you not to reheat them.

The best way to reserve hot dogs are to cut them on half and fry trhem

Only reheat once. Or else you could get sick and hard-to-see mold could grow. I found that out on TV.

You sure can. Just thaw them in a SEALED TIGHT container or bag and thaw in the refrigrator and not out on the counter.
