Hi,
I would not put it quite that way. Most humans have some cancer cells lying dormant in their bodies. Moles, for example, tend to contain cancer cells, but for as long as the body is strong and healthy, and yes, as you say, with a strong immune system, such cells are kept under control. But what most people do not realise is that the immune system is not only fighting invaders from outside, like bacteria and viruses, but much of the overall potential of the immune system gets absorbed in time by "enemies" from within! They tend to accumulate in various parts of the body, like in the bowels, in the form of toxic retention and build up. Toxins also set around the joints, in the liver, lungs, and elsewhere, gradually swallowing most of the potential of the immune system. And that is when the body becomes unable to fend off additional invaders. Further toxins, bacteria and viruses can push the body over the edge, and the previously dormant cancer cells can become rampant. Therefore, cancer is more common with older people.
You may have heard someone saying that they know of someone who got cancer following the use of a domestic spray cleaner, or after getting in touch with asbestos, or from smoking. But none of these would have been the cause of cancer. They may have been just the final trigger.
So, in order to keep your immune system in good performance, and to keep cancer at bay, keep your body clean of toxins, and do regular bowel, and possibly other body cleanse. Another important factor is genetical predisposition to cancer. Some people have cancer in the family, and they need to work even harder to fend it off their bodies.
Should you be interested in how to combat cancer in more detail, and by entirely natural means, you may want to visit the Dhaxem website.
I hope that the above is of some assistance.

You are correct. Cancer cells are present in the body all the time and like an infection the immune system destroys the cells before they mutate. Sometimes the body is unable to fight off the cells and they start to produce in a manner that the body is unable to balance.

I believe that is the theory. I was told the average count is 35-now, I have no idea if 100's, 1000's.. I had cancer twice and they do a test called a CA125 which is the measure of cancer cells in a body. I was told by my oncologist then that 35 was normal-that we all have cancer cells in our bodies. The goal of a cancer patient is what I call TFTC-too few to count... Actually my last CA125 was 0.

What I was told when I was lil after my grandpa past of cancer is that we all carry cancer cells. When something triggers them, such as smoking causes lung cancer and the sun causes skin cancer, then they be come full cancer. (Sorry I dont have right terms at this point...lol its late. But yeah something that you come in contact with causes the cancer to effect the body and those we know the rest.
* This was told to me when I was 12 so it may no longer be true. Science changes everyday.

Yes, this is a true statement and something I just found out recently myself.
How we take care of ourselves and our bodies helps to determine if these cells are killed off or if they reproduce within the body causing cancer.

in the cell cycle - the process when the cells divide and replicate all its content, there is a check point. if the check point genes sense the abnormalities in the cells, it will stop the cell cycle from complete and the cell division/replication process arrested. the genes also induce apoptosis (cell death) if the abnormalities cannot be repaired and finally the cell will die.
but if the check point failed to do so and let the cancer cells pass through the cell cycle and replicate, the cancer will form.

We don't always have a cancer forming somewhere, but we sometimes do.
The immune system recognizes abnormal cells and kills them
Cancers are much more prevalent in immunosuppressed people - particularly lymphoma and kaposi sarcoma

Yes. Correct. If someone finds breast cancer early when the tumor is the size of a pea, that means it has been growing for 10 years!!! See this site for more info about it. 5,000 studies show that fruit and vegetables prevent cancer.

In the 1960’s, Professor Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel prizes, proved that there are over 60 deficiency diseases, some as debilitating as arthritis, others as well known as osteoporosis, which can be traced to mineral deficiencies alone. After further research, he summarized his revolutionary findings as:
“YOU CAN TRACE EVERY SICKNESS, EVERY DISEASE AND EVERY AILMENT, TO A MINERAL DEFICIENCY”
