forget the poppy seeds, lose the rolls entirely.

No offense, but are you serious? If concerned about the calorie count in a poppy seed try just eating the poppy seed and skip the bread roll.

If eating things with poppy seeds could get you high, the US government would have made them a controlled substance by now. If eating things with poppy seeds could get you high, offices everywhere would be happier places, since so many people eat poppy seed bagels and lemon poppy seed muffins...

It all depends on the poppy seeds that r used.
If the baker uses heroin poppy seeds you'll get really high,want to sleep then vomit 4 awhile.

no you would be better off to eat the seeds and not the rolls bread turns to sugar as soon as you eat it would be no different than eating a cup of sugar. the seeds aren't bad(unless you have to pass and opium test)

have the seeds not the roll becos the poppy seeds are the best bit. and rolls are more fatning

No, don't worry about them, be sure your bread rolls are wheat. White rolls have no nutrients and only calories.
