Oh please. You do not even have it that bad.
What kind of "question" is this anyway? Stop being such an attention whore.

Well as a mother of a 26, 22 & 15 year old I do know that we can be over protective, calling every 5 minutes is extreme. Maybe a adult talk would help, I know that I am much more resceptive to my children when the come to me being mature and well informed about what they want to discuss, such as later curfews and stuff. Show your parents that you can act like the adult that you are about to be in a couple of months and ask for more freedom and to be treated like the adult that you are acting like. Hopefully they will see that and be willing to compromise.

This one is hard to answer because I am a parent and my kids tells me were they are going and I trust them. But, I am sure that your parents are so scared of you getting hurt or something worse. Keep talking to them. Don't give up talking. Sit in front of them both and say, Mom, Dad, I need some space. I am going to be 18 soon. I need to be able to do things with out all these phone calls. I will be calling you when I am going to go other places so you wont worry. And maybe tell them to watch Dr. Phil, he talks about these types of issues.

So act like a grown-up! You even sound like a kid. If you don't like the rules move out in a couple of months! Then you'll realize what great parents you have. How much they love you.

Got to say just bite your lip and take it. You are, in the eyes of the law, and your parents, still a child-a minor. Turn 18, graduate, then they should back off. If they don't, give em hell.

Parents are always looking what is "best " for us. My parents are equal and the only way of solving problems is talking to them and make them know that you´re not a little baby and that in somethings you can or want to be alone.

those are just the parents you have. I'd be bugged-out too...but on the other hand, some folks don't have parents who care at all. things will change when you move out on your own. tell them you appreciate their love now and then....maybe they just need to hear that more. be tolerant...being a parent is hard.

maybe they should read this question
tell them your not a baby and you will be goin to college soon and move out and start a family and they can't stop you.
by giving you space their giving you the courage to move on and the strength to do so
if they keep you at arms length you'll be like a "failure to launch"
show them your yahoo answers question but tell them you don't want to hurt them you just want space

Wait until graduation then they'll stop. You may never know this but parents care and know better than you a lot.
