Listen: you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Good luck and stick at it.

With exercise it will help alot. When you eat your meals do this: no cheese on it, no deserts or sweet treats except for once or twice a week, if you're going to eat out get chicken or fish dishes, subway is good for lunches, eat foods that are not fried. Now that should be enough to start! lol

you need to eat about 6 small meals a day. and you need to workout at least 3-5 days a week and do cardio at least 3 days a week. cardio work needs to be longer then 25 minutes. losing weight is a slow process. so stick with it and good luck

certainly increase your activity levels, smaller portions, eat something every 3-4 hours. You have to "stoke" the fire.. this will increase you metabolism. Decrease the amount of refined carbohydrates like cakes, candies, soft drinks, sugary coffee drinks, stay hydrated, etc.

Exercise of course, but I try to do portion control. You can still eat what you want, you just don't eat as much of it.
