to be graded on your mile. In PE if you dont get a certain time your grade is affected. Like a 10 minute mile I believe is a B. And so on

Wow. I use a treadmill at the gym and I go about .75 miles in 20 minutes. I'd fail your class.
I don't think it's fair. It's more important that you finish the mile than in how fast it takes you to do it.

a 10 min mile really isn't that big of a feat. i know for some that are over weight and out of shape it may be. but i'm assuming that the teacher isn't asking you to do this in the first week of school. so just like studying for an exam, put some time into it and get yourself prepared.

NO its not fair. I think a person runs differently from every other person like I can run 1 hour per mile And what he would give me an F???!!!!

I don't think it is. I mean... what if you're overweight? What if you have asthma? I think as long as you run the mile, you should get an A. That's how my PE class is too and I don't like it!

Doesn't seem fair to me. Not everyone has the capacity to be a great runner, but they can do other things well. Why should they get a bad grade for something that's beyond their control?

no, it isn't fair. back in highschool i wasn't graded on my mile time. then again i woudln't of minded since i ran track. i woudl'nt worry about it though, your gym class grade probably won't affect the type of life you have in the future
