I had cellular biology class tonight and I stayed afterwards to ask the professor whether we needed to bring out own scantron or if it will be provided for the test tomorrow. He said, "Don't you worry your pretty little head sweetheart." He was grinning and looking me up and down. But then he said "In fact, sit in the front row and show some cleavage and I'll give you an A, Deal?" He ran his hand down my arm, I got very uncomfortable, awkwardly laughed it off and hauled booty outta there. What should I do tomorrow? I have to admit I am a tiny bit tempted to dress sexy tomorrow, cause this is a reaaallyy hard class, but on the other hand I want to earn my grades legitimately. Should I just drop the class? He really did make me feel uncomfortable.

WHAT..are you going to do..when you dress sexy and HE..expects more....for that "A"..? IT'S ..NOT..worth it.. He is a pig..and should not be teaching! You should go to the school board and ask if you can record him talking to you like that.... YOU..need to do something about it....Don't just forget about it.....He can hurt another student..and maybe he already has!... Good Luck...!

Unless he meant it as a complete sarcastic joke, which it sounds like that wasn't the case at all, that is blatant sexual harassment, legally called a "quid pro quo" you should report him to a dean or someone above him at the college. Make sure you can either take the class again during another semester with another professor or see if you can transfer to another section.

Even if you dressed sexy his next request may go even further and you would know you didn't get the grade legitimately and may not really know the material.

OH IM SORRY!!!!! This happened to a friend of mine actually last year in her college class. aight this is what she did. I called her up. She was straight wit him and told him as an adult. She said sumthin like "I truly don't appreciate you making suggestive comments to me like that and I feel very uncomfortable when you do it. I see you as a teacher and nothing more and you know that what you are doing is very unacceptable. I don't know what you're trying to get at but if my attire is going to affect my grade in the class then I don't want to be bothered with it." Tell him sumthin lke that. Don't just drop da class w/o him knowing it because he can do it to someone else and if u want to u can tell an administrator because A COLLEGE PROFESSOR should have more sense than that. UNACCEPTABLE!!! add more details if i missed anything. hope it helps and my homegurl says GOOD LUCK!!

Speak with a Dean about the comment and the unwanted attention ... see if a transfer to another class is possible. What ever you do document the time, date, what was said and the touching that took place. This is great ammunition to show the Dean when you make your "timely" complaint. It also works if you find your self in a "put out or fail out" situation. Remember it's only a class ...it's his job/lively hood he just unzipped and laid on the table .... get out the heels and step on it good !

As much as I want to say "get your A and show some cleavage", I have to say that this wrong. If he does it to you, he will do it to other girls. And think of the other girls he might make uncomfortable. That's not how a professor should act. You should report him so he won't do it anymore. If he wanted to teach, he needs to teach. Besides, passing someone for how they look--how is he affecting people's futures? How would you feel if your life was in the hands of a professional who passed their classes by looking cute? This is scary.

Actually... Turn him in, and you don't have to worry about the grade! Haha. No, really though, this is serious... That's creepy. It's called sexual harrasment. I'm going to assume that you know what that means already.

Please don't give in to what he says. It would be better to feel comfortable in class and study like normal than to brown-nose a teacher and miss important things you might need to know for future classes (and plus, he might do worse things in the future to another student.)

Just try to consider turning this man in. His statement was very innapropriate.

I think you should drop the class and report him even though 10 out of 1 you will not but never let any man intimated you because once you allow them to get away with it they will never stop till they get caught or what they want. Good luck

If you sit up front and dress real sexy tomorrow don't come cryin' to me. You sit in the back wearing a baggy sweatshirt and earn your grade and I will respect you (for whatever that is worth).

Don't let the jerk get away with it ,it has a name sexual harassment and he has no right to figure that you have nothing upstairs all you have are your looks(you must be smart you are in collage)wear a turtleneck tomorrow and then tell him if he ever says something like that again to you that you will report him.

report him to the dean. Dont sell yourself short to get a good grade. You will probably feel bad about it in the long run. He needs to stop his harassment. Sue him if you really want money, sue the school too!!!!!!!! IF you want to sue him.... just make sure you check with the state's human rights department right away to make sure you file your claim within the short statue of limitations.
