I like turkey, ham, or roast beef - with lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo and mustard - that's good!

But my all time favorite is a homegrown tomato sandwhich with mayo, salt & pepper on soft white bread - ew wee, now thats fine eatin.

Definitely muffuletta (there are alternate spellings). It describes the spread or "relish" made from chopped black and green olives, onion, garlic, and assorted herbs, steeped in olive oil (or in a vinaigrette).

Traditionally, the sandwich contains "Italian-style" meats and cheeses, such as prosciutto, mortadella, salami, provolone and mozzarella. It's usually served as an appetizer (cut into small pieces, as part of an antipasto).

But just like everything else, nowadays it can be varied. It's not the cold cuts that define the muffuletta...it's the relish.

Monte cristo - OMG it is soooo good. It is ham and cheese that the bread is lightly battered and fried, then they sprinkle it with powdered sugar and there is a rasberry dipping sauce with it - YUMMY.
