I don't know why you poseted it into religion/spirituality, but derived quantity is a number that you obtain not directly, but using some calculations.

It is the grain particle leftover when you run your kernels through a sieve to make sure that the quanity is correct for planting. 145 to a row, 6 to a hole. 5 inches into the ground at a 50% angle to the right and then watered with purplish/green food plant mixture made by Mr. Feeders.
The rest of the amount is speculation only, but some cultures say that if planted right, the outcome of the crop harvest will be outstanding and in some years it has been documented that all records have been surpassed and broken. If you are lucky, you will come out with a perfect harvest from the derived quantite that you so lovingly raised from a former tiny little seedling which is a product of a past derived quantite.
