We as an entire being, are physical. In the Bible, we are called a soul, we do not have an immortal soul or part about us. The Bible says; God, his son Jesus, and the 144,000 are the only ones who are immortal. And the Bible says; that the soul that is sinning, it itself will die. Genesis 2:7 Ezekiel 18:4

We are Spirits who have come to this earth to get the gift of a Physical body from God...
This physical body is carnal by nature and our Spirit must learn to control it.

Your soul definitely does exist. Don't deny it! Some people have woken up after near death operations where their brain went dead for a while, and they told the doctors every tiny detail of what happened. One more thing. Get to know Jesus. Give God a try.

We are matter that has evolved into consciousness. When we die, so does our consciousness. All things in the universe, from galaxies and stars to planets and life, share a common bond. We are born, we live and then we die. That's it. If there is one life, one chance at enjoying it. Doesn't that make life more precious?
