I donate blood on a regular basis and I don't recall zoloft being on the forbidden list.
For a definitive answer call the Red Cross.
As for the "no medication" people they are wrong. I have taken several different medications and been able to give blood.

I think you can. When you go to donate, you are asked all sorts of questions, including one about meds you are taking. The Red Cross will screen you out if Zoloft is a problem for donation.

when you donate blood there is a lot of ?'s you have to answer, and you might not based on it is a health problem, for instance diabetics can give blood if there sugar was out of control in the past month even once... but it doesn't hurt to check with the donation company

i don't think zoloft is a contraindication to donating blood. my g/f is on depression meds and she donates blood every year. the nurse or tech that takes your blood give you a screening form that you fill out so they can figure out if they can use your blood or not

why not call them to be sure. Usually they ask about 100 questions of you before you give blood. They want to know what medications you're on. Ask a nurse.

I think that you can donate blood, as long as you have normal liver enzymes and no evidence of infectious diseases such as hepatitis or AIDs.

depression is a mental problem and only effect your health if you let it eg over eating, over exercising etc
if you are healthy physicaly and of age you should be fine
