Basically how much possible damage would you like to do to your hair. I personally would go for the lowlights...they look really nice. And it is just hair after all.

Have your hairstylist give you lowlights and highlights. You'll have to continue getting highlights because you'll have roots. The lowlights will fade, so you might have to get the same process done a few times to achieve the look you want.

You can either add some lowlights or you can get complete base color done (full head) in a darker shade and have the highlights added in.

from looking at your pic you look the pro,ok when your hair is light blond go out and get a hair dye that is light brown,buy a frosting cap and take selected strands that you want a little darker and leave the cap on for about 20 minutes.When you are selecting hair dyes look for the lightest brown u can find.make sure not to put too many of the strands with the light brown ,when you rinse it out ,condition,everything you need is at sally beauty supply

If I were you I would comb through a temporary med. blonde color
use a thick bristle comb and put the color onto the comb so you make "rows". You may need to do it every couple months while the blonde grows out. Make sure you get a temp color for "color treated hair" This will keep your hair healthy.

grow it out if you just keep using dye or highlights your gonna damage yor skin
