You know, the questions don't bother me, but the pat and cutesy short answers do. They shouldnt even get the two points for that.
My answer is:
SOME women may look like they are running things, but I think that is usually after the man has left the captain's chair vacant for too long. In our early years, we would be home on EVERY sunny weekend afternoons watching football or basketball with beer and chips if I had any say in it, because that makes me happy. With her forcing the issue, we get out, on a drive, to the park, anything, just freaking living life in the fresh air and sunshine. Once I'm out there, I'm loving it, but I would not be the initiator, and at the point it's suggested, I would be grumpy and resistant. Also, it would be the leaning tower of dishes in the sink, waiting for her to break down and do them if she doesn't take the aggressive stance. It's not needed now, but I been married 20 years. Witholding sex is not the effective tactic it used to be. Now it's methat has to have matured enough, and for us to have had a history of development and communication, that makes me WANT to please her, to want to do something that obviously needs doing because it supports our household and our union.
Don't you think if they could - these bossy women you speak of - if the man was a take charge guy, and by that I mean take charge and have a minimal level of tact and taste and style, don't you think she would love to sit back and let him drive? Spontaneously decide to drive to the beach have a hotel already reserved, or throw her a surprise party, or bring home some flowers, even the supermarket ones if it means you were there and thought about her and got an impulse. So many women try that empowered tact to make up for having basically a nice guy, but not one that has a lot of zing. They should be strong well capable women anyway, of course, but should not feel the pressure to make the relationship work. Think of a couple popular sit-coms - why is it so successful to portray the woman as a long suffering wife with a goofy big baby as a spose? Everybody Loves Raymond, The King Of Queens, even back in the days of The Honeymooners or the Flinstones, the formula is there. It's because it's identifiable to most of the audience.

Women are running the show because (1.) women have what guys want (2.) women have the sayso to whether you get it or not (3.) if a guy forces himself upon a woman to get what he wants, the woman can get the guy in trouble; sexual harrassment. So women does run the show whether they think so or not. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love women! Women rule!!!

Well I'm a woman and I don't think I run things. I also don't try to use sex as a means to get what I want from my man. Maybe I'm just different from other women.

Women have the upper hand and always will,because they have what you want,but that is no reason to put pressure on them,women are loving when the time is right and you are with the right one then she will share that loving at the right time.

wow dont be so upset...women like to feel important, and most men even when your dating seem to know what they want all the time. Women like to make things happen a certain way, our minds are thinking faster than anything...we have our weddings kids etc...planned when we are young. We want prince charming even though he does not exist. take a breather...listen to your woman, see what she likes then try to talk about where u can meet in the middle

Because we have a vagina and we know how to use that to our advantage ok. We are running the show and if you would just accept that, sit back and enjoy the ride you'd be a lot happier.

It depends on the stability of the woman. If she is independent than you will run into this a lot more. It is like I can do this with or without you.
