Well I know this girl. We're friends. School just started up again and we have only one class together. Well... I want to know how I can get closer to her. And I guess...

Just talk to her, being yourself!

You can be more direct to her about things. Like a true friend will say, "hey you know you can trust me with anything right?" and "whenever you need someone no matter the situation, i'll be there okay?" i know they sound very corny, but girls like this type of attention and appreciate a friendship better when knowing they can count on another person besides a relative. But in order to do this you need to get to know her better. Sooo, you need to hang out with her outside of school since shows you don't just hang out with her at school since you don't really know what else to do, u know? And maybe show an interest like, hey where are your classes and try to walk together even if youre a little late to your class, don't do this all the time, but just let her know what importance she is to you since she's making you a little late. So just do small details like that and maybe try to open up with couple of your problems so she can feel comfortable telling her own. Yeah that should pretty much do it, best of luck!

You could always offer to study with her sometime. Start discussing the class with her, but don't stay on that, otherwise she'll think you have nothing else to discuss with her. Ask her what her favorite movies are, favorite bands, hobbies/interests, etc. People love to talk about themselves, and learn more about other people, too. Girls do not like to be treated like potential girlfriends, but rather friends. By being a friend to her first, she'll like you even more, and you never know if you two will wind up dating!
Best of luck.

I'm a school-aged female and I have experience with guys who have tried to befriend me. But the problem is that 6/7 of them wanted to be more than just friends. Is that what you want with this girl? If so, then I'd advise that you simply be straight-forward with her. Flirt with her. I'm most flattered by confident guys who know what they want, and act on it. Just don't be too aggressive.

Watch her (but not like stalking her or anything). Notice something she owns and uses/looks at that seems to be special to her ...a particular pen, a book she might be reading, a picture on her folder-anything really...then ask her about it. "Hey, I notice you use that pen a lot...why is that? Why is it so important to you?.." Something like that. Girls really like it when guys NOTICE stuff about them, little things, things they might seem silly but to her it might be really important. Listen to her answer, go from there. If you notice the little things enough to talk about them with her, she'll know you have noticed her and been watching & thinking about her...everyone likes to think someone else has been thinking about them, right? You can't lose!

Listen to her when she talks and ask questions that are related to what whe just said so she knows you were really listening.
Say, "what else" alot. When she has opened up to you she will naturally be interested in what you have to say. But first let her do all the talking. Ladies first!
