Why does my ex who broke up with me when I moved away to college keep calling me and says he loves me?
It's been over a year and a half since my ex broke up with me because he couldn't handle a long distance relationship (we tried it for 6 months). He has been calling me ever since..at least every two weeks..to say hi and see how I am doing. Whenever we see eachother (like every 3 months or so) we play around but never have sex. Why does he continue to keep in touch? I am seven years younger (i'm 20 and he is 27). And he even tells me that he wants me to have fun and meet other people b/c we are both "living seperate lives right now." Any ideas on what he is thinking? I don't know if I should keep talking to him because I cant seem to get over him. But then if I don't answer his calls I get scared that he'll never call me again and I love him so much. What should I do?

Well if you love him and he loves you talk to him about what you're asking here... If you love each other the distance doesn't matter. Trust me. I'm in a long and I mean LONG distance relationship right now and we work around the distance because we love each other. Tell him you can't keep turning it on and off. I mean your feelings and the relationship. If you really wanna get over him you have to stop talking to him. It hurts and I know how much it does but it's something you must do for yourself. You're only hurting yourself more if you keep doing this and never talk to him about it...
