and in a world where forty thousand innocent children starve to death every day, how can you possibly force unwilling women to birth still more unwanted, unhealthy, children?

knock it off
it is as though pro choice means pro-ignorance.
If you do not want to have a baby, then prevent the pregnancy.
Are there really people having sex that can not use their mind to prevent the pregnancy?
The solution should be mandatory sterilization for people who are so sexully irresponsible!
This society is supposed to be the most advanced and edutcated, yet the simple matter of preventing unwanted pregancy is somehow eluding you.
Abortion is a symptom of the problem of irresponsible people who lack the intelligence to avoid the impregnation.
You stupid people should wake up.

Because they have been duped into believing that a group of cells is an actual baby..but another more disturbing point.

Consider in Africa where many believe in Christianity.. People, knowing that they are having trouble feeding themselves..will go on and have more children, even after they have had kids that died of starvation...Why is this? Because the Bible says be fruitfull and multiply and these people think that they will be reunited with their children in a heaven that does not exist!

Couple that with the Christian (mainly Catholics) banning of birth control..the Christian religion is responsible for millions of horrible deaths by starvation and disease. Is this not tragic? Something must be done to stop this mind virus known as Christianity.

Your numbers are bogus. There are not 14,600,000 children starving to death every year. Also, what is the definition of a child? Is it 0-10? 0-18? To prove your case show hard facts and their sources not just shout propaganda.

I believe that instead of people protesting against a woman's choice maybe they could aid her in finding a suitable home for her unwanted child

I am pro-choice.

I have never been pregnant, and abortion shouldn't be used as the main birth control, but I would never rally to take away a women choice.

AMEN BROTHER!!!! Every woman should have access to birth control regardless of income. The only reason they don't is because some Religious Freaks are trying to control everyone lives. Their idea of birth control is "don't have sex". Doesn't work too well.

If you don't like birth control, don't take it.

Those unwilling women chose to spread their legs and have sex without protection, knowing full well that it would result in pregnancy. So the only thing they are unwilling about, is using protection.

Maybe then we should only force woman in countries that can feed their people to have children. Like the US.

It's my personal opinion that no woman should be forced to have a child she doesn't want.

But abortion is murder. Let's not play with words.

I am a Christian. What do I do now? My own personal opinion is the polar opposite of God's word. I guess I need to decide what takes precedence; His word or my opinion.

maybe women shouldn't be having babies if they are unable to provide for them. maybe women should think twice about having unprotected sex if they don't have a reliable man to be with. maybe couples should PLAN their families, not just deal with accidents. maybe men and women should be more responsible and educated when it comes to sex. there are plenty of ways to keep from getting pregnant, rather than you using guilt to justify abortion.
