My girlfriend says the same thing to me sometimes. Chances are your being overly sensitive, the guy really likes you or he probably wouldn't be kicking it with you. Just let him know to watch what he's saying because you are very sensitive to his thoughts .He'll probably listen to you and think a little more before he speaks. If not, there are loads of other guys who would jump off a ledge to please you.

Honestly you seem way too good for this guy, I have no respect for anyone who can't treat others with the same amount of dignity they themselves would expect. I also don't think there is a way (without therapy) to change the way people are but maybe you should tell him how it makes you feel, let him know that if it continues you will break it off. If he still treats you badly after that, follow through and break it off, you deserve someone who treats you right and trust me there are good guys are out there! I have one ;)
good luck

Honestly the best you can do is just talk to him about it, I mean a relationship involves the important element of communication, if you both can't communciate your problems and concerns to each other regardless of what it may be, then your relationship isn't going to last long, so well try to talk to him and see what you can do to fix how he treats you, sadly if he can't communicate or if he seems to not care about your problems then well your going to have to break it off, because he's bad *** attitude will only keep getting you upset over the same things he does and says

Ever hear the saying "Treat a whore like a lady and lady like a whore." As demeaning and insulting as it is, I've seen men do this and women fall for it again and again. He probably does this to scare you and reels you back in just when you think everything's lost. It's a manipulative ploy to keep you off-balance while he gets power over you. Don't stand for it.

MAY BE HE LIKE S TO SEE YOU CRY,,, IF HE TRULY CARED FOR YOU, HE WOULD NOT HURT YOUR FEELINGS LIKE THAT.... IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HIM WELL THEN YOU NEED TO BE STRONG AND TOUGH.. LET HIM KNOW THAT STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES BUT YOUR WORDS WILL NEVER HURT ME. NAME CALLING IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS, JUST NAME CALLING NOTHING MORE OR LESS. IF HE IS NOT ABUSIVE WELL THEN I FEEL THAT YOU CAN FIX YOUR PROB. BY STANDING UP TO HIM WHEN HE TREATS YOU BADLY. NOW IF HE HITS YOU WELL THEN YOU NEED TO PU SOMETHING AND KNOCK HIS A** OUT COLD AND THEN LEAVE HIS A**> GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP.

This is how abusive relationships start (you are really in one now, it's just mental and not physical yet.) Look up information on abusive relationships and your will find this pattern. Be aware that it will only get worse with time. Just don't get yourself trapped. Good luck.

If you like being sad and treated badly.. keep him but I don't know why anyone would do that.
