Guys, what do you like in a girl? I'm pretty, and very athletic. I really want to go out with this one guy, and I want him to notice me. Which he dosen't seem too.

Move on to someone who wants to go out with you. Don't waste time on someone who doesn't.

Your answer is in the question- you're desperate! Like women, men only find desperate women useful for one thing- one guess what it is.
Most pretty & athletic girls are very difficult to approach- they move around in flocks and are very hard to find alone. And while most boys dislike talking about weight, looks, clothes and make-up, these girls seem to talk only about that- which repels the boys they dote on, anyway.
Now, you could approach him, but that will only give him the upper hand- that is, he'll know you like him, so he doesn't have to put any effort into the relationship- just be himself- which you will find very annoying, later.
You could tell a friend of his friend to tell him, but you might just get the Broken Telephone effect and he'll hear the wrong thing, like: "She's got the hots for you, she wants ur body!" which would lead the guy to think you want him just for sex- some guys would be happy, others offended at why you haven't noticed their intelligence, too.
The best thing to do is to Let Go- let things happen on their own accord- just be yourself (or try being less material) and see how the universe brings you together or apart.

Try and talk to him, and if yo can see if there is any interest. If there isnt move on to someone who will cherish you for you (Pretty and Athletic, sounds hot to me, hope you don't mind). If there is some interest, he may be shy, just try and hang out with im. But remember, you can't MAKE him like you, so don't go out of your way to. If he doesnt notice you, guess who's loss it is? Heres a hint, not yours. If yo can muster up the courage, get him alone and tel lhim how you feel, and if he doesnt return the sentiments, move on. Its all about putting yourself out there; sometimes taking a chance sux, but its way worth it, and you seem like you'll have no problem. Best of Luck.

Wow...Too bad that one guy isn't me. I love athletic!. Maybe you intimidate him. Why don't you get the ball rolling yourself and see what he thinks. Go talk;k to him, maybe even ask him out casually (coffee). Don't make it too obvious, but show him that you're interested. He may just need a kick start.

Maybe your too athletic. Try softening your look with a sexy low cut blouse. Short skirts, tight pants. Yeah I know. But guys dig it. They are visual creatures and hey... sex sells!
