Yes, but would you want to risk the chance of getting with him, then breaking up with him and not having a bestfriend anymore?

the question is do u feel comfortable to date ur best friend knowin that u could lose that friendship if it doesnt work?
the best way is that you dont think what could happen, as in life no one knows what is going to happen as i say tomorrow does not exist dont live with regrets or what if's.
if they feel the same as you it could be the best thing that had ever happen to you.
But remember that a friend is a friend, when u start to date things change you will see things that u didnt see before that could be a turn off or annoying.
you just must trust how u feel and how they feel and know before you jump to such a big change in the relationship cause the last thing you want is to tell them how u feel and then not have the same feelings returned, it could go either way, a great understanding, a beautiful relationship or finding a new best friend.
you already know the answer to your question, are you ready to act on your feelings be honest with yourself and believe in yourself and you will find the right answer as know one here will know your relationship as much as u do, this is advice the answer to ur question.

you take a very big risk when doing that because the chanch of break up is alway there... and then you might not beable to go back to being the friends that you are, but then again you might.
I married my best friend and things are still very wonderful. But i honestly don't know if I could still be a friend if our marriage fell apart. It a very big risk.. and you have to weigh all teh factors, good and bad, and decide if it's worth it. Good luck.

I married my very best friend! didn't know him my whole life..but he came into my life when I needed a friend and a best one at that!!
My best friend married her best friend..they were friends for 10 yrs before they even dated...they've been together for 20 years!
