Countries where Spanish is the official lenguage:
Argentina, Bolivia*, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea*, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay*, Peru*, Puerto Rico*, Spain*, Uruguay, Venezuela and Western Sahara*. The ones with an *, have other official language besides Spanish.

It is also an official language for the United Nations and for the European Union.
