I am getting sick of seeing Elvira Arellano and her dumb bratt on TV when is immigration going to step up to the plate? Or is this how crimminals get treated these days?? By hiding out in a church and getting famous?

It makes me sick. She got deported once, came back, and now expects to be treated any differently. I would like to see someone puff her head with a high powered sniper rifle.

I don't know but they probably never will considering there's a child involved. Illegal immigration is complete bullsh*t and I'm tired of it too! These people don't have ANY rights, not a say, not fair treatment, not sh*t! They're not immigrants, they're illegals. Period. If it were up to true American citizens who cared about the welfare of this country, all violators to the law of our land would be shot on spot, survivors would be shot again. All the illegals who are here raping our country, getting any and everything they could ever want, would be disposed of. These stupid liberals are going to b*tch and moan about how unfair we're being to these people, and look at how they live in Mexico. Well, that's THEIR OWN country. Just because we're the best of the best doesn't mean we should have to mother everyone else to their every need. I'm tired of paying taxes for their rabbit breeding families and the children they couldn't afford in the first place.

First, I notice the words we use. Some news sources identify Ms. Arellano as an “activist” and others as an “illegal immigrant,” which are both accurate descriptors, but each shades the story in very differing lights. An activist is likely to be a heroic figure who is taking a principled stand against a large, unjust system. An illegal immigrant is a criminal who is defying the law of the nation. The power of the words we use to talk about one another cannot be minimized. I even read one story that kept referring to her as a “deportee,” which isn’t accurate, but paints a great “innocent victim” picture for the reader.

I just don't see how she gets away with the child not attending school. It's wrong to use the child as a SHIELD. She had a lot of chances and blew every one of them.Find the father let him care of the child or the church can.

Its easy to fix the problem. Stop tithing, especially if you go to a catholic church who is a big time supporter of these law breakers.

No need to call the kid names but I think they should get her deported already.

Amazing the sob story there when in Maywood CA there was an attack on American sovereignty supported by a police force and city Gov.

You watch too much television, and are easily manipulated by right-wing media.

You need to get out into the world and see how these people live.

What are you hiding? Have you evaded paying any taxes lately? Been lusting after your neighbours wife or daughter?

Are you leading a spotless life? Who are you to throw stones?

It's so easy to cast aspersions when you hide behind a username, isn't it? Get a life!

They have stated that they will take "appropriate action at a time & place of their choice."
Have some patience, it will happen.

They just denied her attempt to get a temporary restraining order to stop execution of the deportation order.
