This may sound sick, but please take note before i got married i had never had sex before, so i'm kinda naive!
How long can a guy usually last while having sex?!
My husband can usually go for like... 5 minutes?! (Does that sound right? I don't exactly time it?! lol) Is that normal? Or is there 'room' for improvement?

when i mean sex i mean penetrating sex... foreplay is much much longer!

Although they're are many guys who last below 5 minutes...they usually are below the age of 18. Just like most anything the body can do...there is improvement, but all improvements take time. Have you talked to him about it? Most time a guy doesn't know what pleases you as much as you do. Tell him what you like..I.E longer sex. If he knows this is an issue, don't be afraid to pick up a book. They're are a lot of devices and medicine that improve the time of sex. P.s Make sure he doesn't tell you it's your fault he doesn't last long...that's just an excuse.

This is very understandable and girl you should be proud of yourself most people don't have much self control when it comes to sex so it ok if this is the first man you been with. All guys are different truthfully I have not had that much experience myself but I can tell you that 5 minutes is good and it's better than 1 minute. If you want it to go longer maybe you should cut the foreplay time down some. If you and your husband is having foreplay for a long time and his is very aroused that by the time you and him have intercourse it is like put the icing on a hot cake. You are getting very hot and aroused during foreplay that when time come for intercourse you almost near climax. So 5 minutes is normal after 15-30 minutes of foreplay. So if you want more than 5 minutes of intercourse try having 5 or 10 minutes of foreplay and leave the rest for the cake that is cooling down ready for the finishing touches before it's going to be look at and then eaten in other words intercourse. You could improve your sex life in this way, you can also read books and get more info on the web. But also you can talk to your hubby and together you can work out a way to improve don't get disappointed, it's hard most men can last long like 30-40 min and some 1 hour which is rare. But it took them a long way to get like that and also it came with practice so don't discouraged talk about it with him. And if the lowering your time on foreplay works then that was the key to your answer.

Your Sex Life Has Gotta Be Boring....My Fiance Normally Last's For 1 1/2-2 hours in the bedroom. Yea There Is Room For improvement. Most Men Should last at Least A half-forty five minutes.

Well I've been married to a five minute man ...sucks. But the husband I am with now can last 20..30..40 minutes, it's great. I had never been with someone like this before so after time went by, I felt comfortable to ask him????? He (hope you don't think it's gross) as a teenager would masturbate until he would feel the urge and he'd stop before it happened. He said he did this a lot and it helped him learn how to have discipline and last longer. But I think it's common the five minute thing.

Is that a problem for you? I know it might sound horrible, but I wish my husband was satisfied to stop after 5, I know I usually have been satisfied(more than once usually) by that time, but i guess a lot of women aren't that lucky. Have him try to "relieve himself" an hour or so before you are ready to be together. From what I understand, this is a trick that guys do often before a date with a new woman, because they know they are so excited to be with her, that they will not be able to help themselves, if they have not gotten rid of some of the sexual energy beforehand. I guess you should also be glad that he is still as excited to be with you as when he first married or met you.

There is room for improvement. Good sex should last atleast 20 minutes.

The question is did he have sex before you were married? For a man do go five minutes or two minutes is what men do. What you want them to do is go longer for your enjoyment and it takes practice

There is room for improvement, every once in a while men will go that fast,but it should'nt be every time.Talk to him about it or say something in a joking manner that is not offensive to bring it up.My husband says guys *** when they r thinking about it,they can stop for a min so they won't.

i would say there is room for improvement but if his 5 minutes make you happy then dont worry about how long other men last with there wifes

its a short time but do both of you get off in that time or is it just him? my husband and i have sex for about 20 mins at the most(not including forplay) but we both get off during that time...i think the long you have sex the more it seems to hurt.
