You are a teenager. It is very possible your body has just not developed to the point that it is regular to 28 days. If you are working on every 45 days (kind of) then that is it and you just need to wait. I also urge your doctor to look into your thyroid levels, since a case of hyperthoidism could cause menstruation to cease. Good luck --

If you have all the symptoms but no posative results, it is possible that your low back may be out. Wait a little longer and then test again. If still negative, see a Chiropractor, but inform them that you may be pregnant.

I had about 30 pregnancy symptoms at once...including a period that was almost 2 weeks late. It was all caused by my back being out though.

Also note, that airline travel across the country can delay a period for about a week.

Another cause could be low body weight. Not enough fat in your body. This happens with athletes now and then.

I'm sorry.. I know I'm a guy, but, been married three times.. but, even that is not all the reason I had to answer this..
Anytime you are having trouble in this area, you need to see your doc.. however, if you've been to your doc, and he couldn't help, it's time to go to another doc... and I'd suggest a female. I have to assume the doc you are talking about is a gynecologist, but, if not, that's where you NEED to go, asap..
Stress can cause your periods to be erratic, as well as the birth control you are using, but, only a doctor, and especially gyno, can tell you for sure, and help you figure out what to do about it.

It could be a lot of things like stress, a cold. I don't know how old you are but I went through the change and just stopped. One month it was there and then the next month nothing. If you are worried about it see a specialist who can be of more help than
"I don't know".

Are you very athletic? Women who are very athletic, and subsequently have a very low body fat percentage can skip their periods. Furthermore, your hormonal balance can be an issue, have you had your estrogen etc. levels checked? Is your diet condusive to a normal cyclical period? Are you on any medications that would cause your body to stop having periods?
