People keep talking about passing laws?

Laws to control immigration are a liitle too late now. These people are not going to care. You are talking about criminals. They realize it is illegal to come here. They don't care. The only thing they are going to understand is ACTION. People keep saying "Congress needs to do this" and "The Senate needs to do that" but I think it is too late for that. The solution needs to start with the American people. Comments?

It doesn't mean taking the law into your own hands. It means PARTICIPATE in a solution. Protest, demonstate, advocate, petition... show support for this country. This will show these people that we don't want them here if they can't come the right way.

If the hr 4437 passes then a lot of things will change...this law will put any one in prison for 5 years that house's a illegal..that gives an illegal a job,,and if an illegal gets caught here with out permission they are automatically deported for life no chance of ever becoming a USA citizen...this is just a little bit of the hr 4437..if they cant find work or shelter then they wont want to be here..no need for them to be here..

OH yeah this law go for the churches also

You're the reason why there won't be a rational discussion on immigration.

Want to stop immigration? Eliminate the reason why the come in the first place. To get jobs to feed their families.
1. Increase the penalties for knowingly hiring illegal aliens or for having lax paperwork
2. Create a national real-time database that employers can use to perform instant checks to match Social Security numbers with indentities (good luck getting this one to pass; the left and right wings are opposed to it).
3. Target work places likely to hire illegal immigrants. This strategy eliminates NASA design center and Harvard Medical School. Instead, have frequent raids in the following places:
a. Meat packing plants
b. Farms during picking season
c. Janitorial service companies
d. Construction sites
e. Home depot
Repeat offenders (employers) should be fined heavily and jailed.

While I agree we should take steps to reduce illegal immigration (stop it actually) let's not loose our humanity. They are here because unlike us they did not have the privelege of being born in or legally immigrating in a rich country. What would you do to feed your starving family?

There are times when one must take
charge of ones own destiny.This is one of those times.It isn't going to get better,its only going to worsen.
The government hasn't done anything productive about this and to me the reward of amnesty for your illegal activities is ludicrous.
Laws don't stop illegals,but armed resistance will.We want this travesty stopped and whatever the means they are acceptable.Stop illegals in their tracks,the party's must be over for their damage to the USA Put our military on our borders.Stop illegals from coming here and deport the ones that are here.Here in AZ we are ready .

We should have on own protest on the lawns of all our captiols and maybe they would see the seriousness of the way we feel. I don't see that anyone should take something into their own hands because that is also breaking the law and that is what we are trying to get across to the illegals.

Because talking about passing new law is much easier enforcing the law on the books. Both political parties are afraid to offend these criminals for fear of them one day casting a vote against them.
