Did your dog drink enough water? Feed your dog a little banana. I fed my dog with a papaya after he had constipation and he got well pretty soon. Don't feed your dog too much dry food. Give him a more watery diet for the time being....mix more pet food gravy with minced chicken or beef.

If his condition doesn't improve, bring him to a vet immediately. he might have swallowed a foreign object.

I just asked that same question three days ago. The advice I was given that worked was to give my dog cod liver oil. You can get it in capsules if your dog won't eat the oil. I disguised the capsules in small pieces of meat. I gave my dog 8 of them. She is a big dog. It worked within hours. She was very constipated before this for about a week.

Try a tablespoon of olive oil. I have used it in the past. It works for people too.

Dogs love it and it is good for a dogs skin and coat, too.

If I were you, I'd take him to the vet. My aunt's dog just experienced hemorhoids and that's where he had to go.
